SONAR 2010

The Sonar electronic music festival will be held from 17th to 19th June, and will dedicate special attention to British music. 2000 acreditations were requested, for professionals from 40 countries.

240 groups will attend the event as Dizzie Rascal and The Chemical Borthers, the icelandic Jónsi, Hot Chip, Plastikman or Matthew Herbert, also will play Sugarhill Gang, creators of the first topic of hip hop history.

Unlike other summer festivals, Sonar is a city festival, where apart from the music, many others events will be performed at different points in Barcelona, Sonar Kids, for children and parents,will be held a week before the main event. Sonar Cinema also returns to the festival to display several documentaries and films.
